Visit from NITO Agder

On 12. of March, NITO Agder had planned a visit to UiA in Grimstad and asked if Motion Lab could host a group of visitors.

A group of 25 pensioners divided into two groups visited the Mechatronics Lab and the associated Motion Lab. First, Harald Sauvik showed the groups around the different facilities of the Mechatronics Laboratory. Then Daniel Hagen presented different test setups and presented the research infrastructure of Motion Lab and demonstrated some of the equipment together with Jan Christian Strandene. Finally, a student group demonstrated their ongoing work with their master project in Mechatronics.

The visitors showed clear enthusiasm for the technology that was presented, and we hope that the impression they leave behind will be passed on to grandchildren and contribute to recruiting future students to start studying Mechatronics at UiA in Grimstad. As shown below, NITO Agder has published a post on their facebook group from their visit to UiA.
